Hesaraghatta Lake spread
across for around 1620 hectares, has served Bangalore city by providing
drinking water since 1896 until the recent past. The delightful lake,
spread over 1000 acres, provides facilities for sailing. A livestock
breeding and poultry center have been established here as part of the
Indo-Danish dairy project.
Hesaraghatta has a huge Lake
in between a small series of terrains. Boating & windsurfing are the
attractions here. The happening town, that has made history in many
ways. Hesaraghatta has an artificial lake, a dairy and a horticulture
farm. Boating & windsurfing are the other attractions. Here is the
famous 'Nrityagrama' where young dancers are trained for traditional
dance.
