The Ulsoor Lake in Bangalore
not only attracts the tourists because of its splendid beauty but for a
wonderful experience of boating in the lake. Do visit the small
garden located towards the Northeastern side of Ulsoor Lake called as
‘Kensington Park’ during a visit. Tourists can have a splash in the
swimming pool set near the lake that is part of the recreational complex
of Ulsoor Lake. This pool is open daily between 9pm to 6pm and is closed
on Wednesdays.
There is a recreational
complex situated near the lake, with a swimming pool, where you can go
for a swim. There is also a gurdwara near the Ulsoor lake, considered to
be the largest Sikh shrine in the Bangalore city of India. Spread over
an area of approximately 1.5 square kilometers, the Ulsoor lake of
Bangalore is dotted with islands. One of the major attractions of the
lake is boating.

adjoining Gurudwara that is considered as the largest Sikh shrine in the
Bangalore city while you go on an excursion to the Ulsoor Lake
Bangalore. He slept under the same tree where Mandava Rishi is believed
to have worshipped God Somesvara. In his dreams, he saw God Somesvara,
who told him about a hidden treasure.
